Indian Idol 12 contestants Arunita Kanjilal and Pawandeep Rajan have been in a busy schedule since the conclusion of the reality show. Now, the duo is all set to release a romantic duet song, composed by Pawandeep and Ashish Kulkarni. However, ahead of the release, a fan leaked a small portion of the song, which was being recorded at a studio in Mumbai.
Speaking to ETimes, producer-director Raj Surani said that he is not aware of how it leaked, but since it was just a small part, there is nothing to worry about. He said that every effort is being made to find out who leaked the song online.

It was revealed that the composer duo Ashish and Pawandeep are forming a romantic duet with 70 live musicians, including 10 tabla players, 15 dholak players and others. The song will be sung and picturized on Arunita and Pawandeep. Both are also learning dance as they will have to perform in the video.
Pavandeep had emerged as the winner of Indian Idol 12, while Arunita was the runner-up. Sally Kamble, Mohd Danish, Nihal Tauro and Shanmukh Priya were the other finalists of the singing reality show. After the show, Pawandeep and Arunita became one of the most sought after singing duos. Owing to their powerpack and stellar performances in the show, both have earned a huge fan following with the show. Their chemistry in the show had also caught the attention of the people and the rumors of their being in a relationship were also doing the rounds on social media. However, on several occasions, both the contestants have confessed that there are only ‘good friends’.
Pawandeep and Arunita will also be seen performing in Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar-starter Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2. There will also be a sangeet ceremony in the ongoing wedding sequence of Ram and Priya. The winner and 1st runner-up of Indian Idol 12 will make a performance for the couple on-screen.
