Patna: With the decline in the number of COVID-19 cases in Bihar, Railways has decided to resume services of more MEMU/DEMU special trains on various routes. East Central Railway (ECR) from Sunday.
According to ECR’s Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar, Gaya-Pand Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction (DDU) MEMU Special (03383/03384) will be restored from Sunday. “It will leave Gaya at 6:25 pm and reach God 11:55 am. On return, it will leave DDU at 4 am and reach Gaya at 9:45 am.
Whereas Patna-DDU MEMU Special (03293/03294) will leave Patna Will reach DDU at 8 pm and 4.28 pm, on return will leave and reach DDU at 5.35 pm Patna Junction Sources said that Patna-Gaya MEMU Special (03335) will leave Patna at 2.40 pm and will reach Gaya at 8.08 am. Sources said that another MEMU special (03336) will leave Gaya at 4.30 am and reach Patna at 7.15 am from Sunday.
Barauni – Samastipur MEMU Special (05501/05502) will leave Barauni at 7:50 am on 20th September and arrive Samastipur at 9:40 am on the same day, whereas in return it will leave Samastipur at 8:10 pm and reach Barauni at 9:40 am. Arrive: 50 hrs
Katihar – Samastipur MEMU Special (05263/05264) will leave Katihar at 8:35 AM and arrive Samastipur at 3:50 AM. On returning, it will leave Samastipur at 12.55 pm and reach Katihar at 9.45 pm.
Samastipur – Saharsa MEMU Special (05291/05292) will leave Samastipur at 1:30 pm on Monday and arrive Saharsa at 5:41 pm on the same day. On returning, it will leave Saharsa at 4:05 am and reach Samastipur at 8:40 am.
Koderma-Mahevasmunda Passenger Special (03005/03006) will leave Koderma Reach Maheshmunda at 5:30 am and 9:35 am from Sunday. On return, it will leave Maheshmunda at 9:35 am and reach Koderma at 12:45 pm, the CPRO said.
Samastipur – Jaynagar Special passenger (05535/05536) will leave Samastipur at 5:50 am from Monday and reach Jaynagar at 9:40 am. On returning, it will leave Jaynagar at 4.30 pm and will reach Samastipur at 7.52 pm.
