Parkash Singh Badal walks out of Hoshiarpur court after hearing.

Former Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal appeared in Hoshiarpur court on Thursday. A case of dual constitution is going on against him here. The petitioner claims that the Akali Dal is not a political party but a religious party. Therefore its recognition should be rejected. In 2009, Balwant Singh Kheda of Hoshiarpur had made a case in the court that Akali Dal has achieved the recognition of the party on double standards. The Hoshiarpur Court had sent it to the High Court. However, the High Court sent it back to the Hoshiarpur Court. The petitioner has also alleged that the Akali Dal also participates in religious elections.
