Rohan Bopanna, who is currently ranked number four in ATP doubles, will represent India in the men’s doubles at the Paris Olympics. He won a gold medal in mixed doubles tennis at the 2023 Asian Games and has continued his impressive form by winning the doubles title at the Australian Open in January. The 44-year-old will compete alongside teammate N Sriram Balaji in Paris.
Hailing from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, N Sriram Balaji started his tennis career at the PERKS Tennis Academy. The 34-year-old has achieved significant success in his tennis career, including a career-high ATP rank of 62 in men’s doubles. Balaji will make his Olympic debut this year, competing with Bopanna. Besides two Gold and a Silver at the South Asian Games, he has also won nine ITF singles titles along with 11 Challenger doubles and 43 doubles Futures trophies.
