The surprise announcement was made on Instagram along with an adorable picture of the newborn. In the picture, the 41-year-old mother is seen holding her child’s tiny hands. Along with the adorable picture, the new mum wrote, “You are loved beyond words already”, before finishing the caption with a heart emoticon.

Although the details of the birth remain a secret, the socialite told PEOPLE that becoming a mother was always her dream. Hilton feels totally excited to have Carter Ream in her life to share this personal milestone. “We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are bursting with love for our baby boy,” she said. A month ago Hilton revealed that she began her IVF journey with Rem in 2020 during the peak of the pandemic.

The couple said the decision came when they saw the world closing in. They wanted to be parents and this was the right time to achieve this milestone. She told PEOPLE, “We knew we wanted to start a family, and I was like, ‘This is the right time. Usually, I’m on a plane 250 days a year, and let’s just stock all the eggs. It was in December 2019 when Hilton started her relationship with businessman Cater Reims. The Hilton heiress was later engaged two years later, who popped the big question during a romantic vacation in February 2021.
