Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha are going to get engaged in New Delhi today. The couple will exchange rings at Kapurthala House, the former residence of the Maharaja of Kupurthala. Raghav’s maternal uncle, designer Pawan Sachdeva shared a sketch of the achkan that the soon-to-be groom would be wearing for his engagement. This is despite the fact that details about Parineeti and Raghav’s engagement look have already been revealed.
“Raghav likes to keep things minimal. He doesn’t want to wear any embroidery or anything loud. So to keep it classic yet stylish, I focused on the fabric, texture and cut while creating an ivory colored achkan for her. Fit is perfect. Fashion designer and Raghav’s maternal uncle Pavan Sachdeva explained, “I added a blush pink pocket square to complete the look.”

Chadha will wear tan leather shoes with his ivory achkan, kurta and trousers. This was the biggest choice for him as according to Pawan he did not want to wear matching ivory mojaris with the outfit.
For their engagement, the couple will wear clothes of complementary colors. Actress Parineeti will wear Manish Malhotra’s ivory lehenga.
