Good news for all K-drama and K-pop fans, as Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yoo Mi, Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik and BTS member V, Jinny’s Kitchen, will be streaming on OTT. The show will follow these five Korean celebrities who will take on the roles of restaurant staff and serve mouth-watering Korean dishes to diners in the exotic city of Bacalar, Mexico. Serving popular takeout food and Korean street cuisine, including kimbap, tteobokki, and more, these are popular Korean celebrities.
Parasite actor Choi Woo-shik shared his experience working on the show. He says, “Being in a popular travel destination, it was really fun. There were all kinds of people from all over the world, there were some that I became friends with. Many of them had just come to spend the holidays. As everyone was on vacation, they were open to trying new things, willing to meet new people and rated our food very positively. So I think I was encouraged by all of that.”
The actor also talks about K-pop heartthrob, singer V of Korean boy-band BTS who is the youngest. “The four of us have already spent a lot of time together, but since V is new, he’ll put his best foot forward when we give him a task. I got to see a new side of him. I’ve always thought he really was young, just a dongsheng (like a little brother). He exceeded my expectations. It was worth seeing.
Starring Lee Seo Jin as the restaurant’s president, Jung Yoo Mi as the director, Park Seo Joon as the general manager, Choi Woo Shik and idol star V as the intern, the first four episodes will be available from March 17th and then in May. Will release weekly. 12th only current Amazon Prime Video.
