‘Pakistan will benefit in T20 World Cup hosting India’

The T20 World Cup to be held in India this year will be shifted to UAE. This was confirmed by BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah on Monday. However, the schedule of the tournament is not ready yet and a decision will be taken in the next few days.

Of course, this World Cup is now taking place in the United Arab Emirates, but India will remain the official host. On the tournament being held in UAE, Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal has said that this time Pakistan’s team will benefit the most in the World Cup. He has also given the reason for this.

He said, ‘Pakistan should have an advantage in the T20 World Cup. We have played international cricket in UAE for 9 to 10 years. This makes Pakistan the most experienced side in the conditions,” Akmal said.

“Not only players from India and Pakistan but also players from other countries will benefit from going to the T20 World Cup as a lot of them play in both PSL and IPL. Given the situation in the UAE, Afghanistan can also prove to be a dangerous side considering the players they have. So, it is difficult to pick a favorite for the T20 World Cup,” said Akmal.

The ICC T20 World Cup has been officially moved to the UAE. According to reports, the T20 World Cup can start from October 17 and the final match of the tournament will be played on November 14.

The remaining 31 matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) are to be played in the UAE before the T20 World Cup.
