Pakistan’s state media reported that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and members of his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will participate in the no-confidence motion proceedings against the prime minister tomorrow.

PTI MNA had earlier decided not to participate on the day of polling. However, in a surprise move, the Prime Minister has directed party MPs to participate in the proceedings of the National Assembly. ARY News reported that the under pressure ruling government is hopeful of defeating the no-confidence motion against Khan.

Imran Khan had also warned the MPs of his party That “no member shall contravene any direction to any other parliamentary party/group or extend to any party relating to the vote of no confidence. “Will be considered.

There was a resolution against the PM introduced in the National Assembly last month and voting on it is expected tomorrow. The Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif had moved a resolution against the Prime Minister on March 28.

Khan needed 172 votes in the lower house of 342 to thwart the opposition’s attempt. No Pakistani prime minister has completed five years in his tenure.
