On 3 April, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan rejected the no-confidence motion. And then President Arif Alvi dissolved the National Assembly on the recommendation of the Prime Minister. Imran Khan has advised the President to hold mid-term elections. Till then the President has issued a notification asking Imran Khan to continue as the Prime Minister.
