Pakistan Bus Blast: Eight Killed Including 4 Chinese Engineers In Massive IED Attack; two missing

Peshawar: In a horrific incident, at least eight people, including four Chinese nationals, were killed in an explosion targeting a bus in northern Pakistan on Wednesday.

A senior government official told Reuters: “The bus plunged into a deep gorge after the explosion and caused heavy damage. A Chinese engineer and a soldier are missing. A rescue operation has been launched and the entire government machinery mobilized to rescue the injured.” Has gone.” Air Ambulance.”

According to Pakistan media reports, the incident took place at around 7.30 am when a coaster was carrying more than 30 workers, including Chinese engineers, from Barsin camp to Dasu hydroelectric plant in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Upper Kohistan district.

The police had cordoned off the spot. Rescue and relief work is on. As per Dawn report, the injured have been taken to Upper Kohistan district headquarters hospital.

The cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained.
