Meanwhile, Imran Khan has called a special meeting of the federal cabinet tonight at 9 pm. Geo News quoted sources as saying that he will preside over the meeting where important decisions are to be taken.

Addressing the Pakistan National Assembly, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Saturday said breaking the no-confidence motion would amount to contempt of court.

Speaking in the National Assembly, Bilawal said that if voting is not done then it will be a violation of the Constitution. He reiterated that the court has compelled the Speaker not to sabotage the no-confidence motion.

Bilawal said that if any conspiracy was being hatched against Pakistan before March 7, it should have been instigated at that time. Bilawal said, “Imran Khan got the idea of this conspiracy only when he lost the majority. Imran Khan is still not present in the house and cannot defend himself.”
