A painful picture has emerged from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The body of a rickshaw driver has been found in Jankipuram, one of the VIP areas here. Jankipuram Inspector Kuldeep Singh Gaur said that due to the rain on Thursday, there was water-logging on the road leading to Jankipuram police station from Akanksha intersection in Jankipuram Sector-I. On Friday, when some water came out, the body of an unknown rickshaw driver was found lying on the road. He was about 50 years old.

His body was covered with a blue striped T-shirt and blue underwear. His rickshaw was also standing near the deceased. A noose of wire was stuck around the neck of the deceased. It seemed that due to the current in the wire and getting stuck in the throat, the middle-aged fell in the water and could not get up. However, due to having 50 rupees in his hand and a noose of wire around his neck, the investigation is also being done on the point of murder. Further action will be taken after the postmortem report of the deceased and the evidences received on the basis of identification.
