Ahead of the inauguration of the first phase of the ambitious Kashi Vishwanath Corridor project, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday, “I am overwhelmed to reach Kashi.” PM Modi, on his two-day visit to the holy city, will first visit the Kaal Bhairav temple to have a darshan of the deity, and then travel through the river route to reach the ghat adjacent to the corridor.
PM Modi will later also participate in a ‘cruise meeting’ and enjoy watching fireworks and festivities being held at the ghats of the ancient city.
After dedicating the Kashi Vishwanath Dham to the people in the afternoon, PM Modi will later in the evening attend an informal meeting on the river cruise with the Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of the state.
During the two-day visit, the Prime Minister will also participate in a conference of Chief Ministers of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Chief Minister of Bihar and Nagaland.
