In addition, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand and West Bengal vaccinated over 10 lakh beneficiaries in the age group of 18-44 for the first dose Is. COVID-19 vaccine, it said.

A total of 55,91,675 doses of vaccine were administered till the 210th day of the vaccination campaign.

The ministry said 43,63,276 beneficiaries were vaccinated for the first dose and 12,28,399 beneficiaries received the second dose of vaccine as of 7 pm, as per the provisional reports.

The immunization practice is regularly reviewed and monitored at the highest level as a tool to protect the most vulnerable population groups in the country from COVID-19, the ministry said.
