“On September 12, we are planning to organize 10,000 camps. Though they are to be organized in all 38 districts, officials have been advised to organize additional camps in nine districts,” he said.
During his recent visit to New Delhi, Subramaniam said he had requested Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to allot additional doses for all residents of the nine districts that border Kerala, which have high infection rates. was being seen. Stating that the health department has the infrastructure for 10,000 camps, he asked the teaching fraternity to assist the health workers. “Teachers should also create awareness and ask people to get vaccinated,” he said.
