We often raid Instagram to check out the bridal lehenga trend and we recently spotted this radiant bride who has created a stir on Instagram for wearing the most unique lehenga – a vermilion colored lehenga!

The silk lehenga embellished with Diksha’s vermilion featured a base print of a skirt panel made from a mid-19th-century Bandhej textile from Kota, Rajasthan.

The lehenga was layered with chevron and floral artifacts derived from ancient textiles and Mughal inlay work, aari and marodi work, kasab, Kashmiri teal, dabka, hand-cut metal sequins and multi-hued pearls. prepared using .

The bride teamed the lehenga with an embroidered patchwork choli and a vintage Banarasi bandej odhana with marodi work. The look was completed with a sheer tulle veil.

She accessorised the look with subtle gold and green jewelry that included a maang tikka, jhumkas, nathani, bracelets and a choker necklace.

Diksha completed the look with a small red bindi and minimal makeup.

Her groom, Piyush Agarwal looked no less than a prince as he opted for an olive colored silk tunic for the wedding. Rimple and Harpreet’s tunic include floral butties furnished by silk and birds of paradise, derived from an 18th-century “Jama” choli. It was teamed with deep olive green embroidered kamarbandh and pataka. The look was finished off with a hand-printed and embroidered stole, hand-crafted mojaris and a basic safa that featured traditional work work.
