ICSI CS opt out facility opens from today (Representational Image)
Those who have availed the ICSI CS 2021 opt-out facility will be allowed to appear for the next session and carry forward their benefits.

NS Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) Registered students have been allowed to opt-out of Company Secretary (CS) Exam 2021 for June to December session. They can avail the opt-out facility on the official website of ICSI at icsi.edu from 1st August to 20th August.
In addition, candidates who wish to request the opt-out option after August 20 will require a COVID-19 positive report as a proof certificate that they or their family members have made a request between July 20 and August 20. had contracted the virus. For those candidates, the option to opt-out will be available till September 4.
Those availing the opt-out facility will be allowed to appear in the next session and carry forward their benefits.
ICSI CS 2021: How to avail opt-out facility
Step 1. Visit the official website of ICSI
Step 2. Click on the link that reads ‘Latest@ICSI’
Step 3. You will be redirected to a new page. Click on the link which reads ‘Link to request to opt out of examination session from June 2021 to December 2021 (1st August to 20th August 2021)’.
Step 4. Fill the Google Form with the required credentials. click submit
Step 5. Download the filled form for further reference
The CS exams for foundation programmes, executive programs and professional programs will be held from August 10 to 20. The exams were earlier scheduled to be held in June but have been postponed due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
