What happened on August 11?

On the last day of the monsoon session of Parliament (on August 11), 12 opposition MPs of Rajya Sabha have been suspended for the entire winter session for misbehaving with the security forces. On August 11, during the discussion on the Insurance Bill, there was a lot of uproar in the Rajya Sabha. Inside the parliament, there was a fierce tussle between the female and male MPs and marshals of the opposition.

On the uproar, Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President Venkaiah Naidu had said that whatever has happened in the House has defiled the temple of democracy. On the other hand, the opposition said that if any attempt is made to pass the bill, then there will be consequences. Along with this, the opposition had also accused of misbehavior with women MPs.
