From espionage scandal to inflation issue, the opposition is leaving no chance to surround the central government. Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha were adjourned thrice on Tuesday. Both the Houses started at 11 am and were adjourned till 12 noon after an uproar.

After this the proceedings started at 12 o’clock. After the uproar, the Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm, while the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 4 pm. After the Rajya Sabha proceedings began at 2 pm, it was adjourned till Wednesday. The proceedings of the Lok Sabha began at 4 pm and after the uproar, it was also adjourned till Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party was held in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. BJP national president JP Nadda was also present in this. In the meeting, Modi said that the opposition is not allowing Parliament to function. This is an insult to democracy and the people.

Earlier on Monday, the opposition had created a ruckus on the espionage case. Opposition leaders kept demanding the government to discuss the issue. At the same time, the opposition targeted the Center on the issue of corona virus epidemic and agricultural law. Due to the uproar by the opposition, the proceedings of both the Houses of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned till 11 am on Tuesday.

Government responsible for non-working of House: Kharge
Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge had said that the government is responsible for the non-working of the House. The government does not want to expose itself. They will face challenges when Pegasus is discussed, they will lose their dignity. They say that they are ready for discussion but they do not want it.

Parliament congratulates PV Sindhu, who won bronze
During the proceedings, PV Sindhu, who won bronze medal in Tokyo Olympics, was congratulated in both the houses. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had said that this is Sindhu’s second consecutive Olympic medal. She is the first Indian woman to win two Olympic medals in an individual event. At the same time, Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu said that Sindhu has created history by becoming the first Indian woman to win two Olympic medals.

Tribunal Reforms Bill introduced in Lok Sabha
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduced the Tribunal Reforms Bill, 2021 in the Lok Sabha on Monday. He had said that it has been prepared with the aim of streamlining the justice delivery system.
