New Delhi: Handset maker Oppo’s next smartwatch to be launched in India will be Oppo Watch Free. It was unveiled in China with a price tag of CNY 549 which roughly translates to Rs 6,200. The listing of Oppo Watch Free has gone live on the Oppo India website, indicating that the smartwatch is in India alongside the Oppo Reno 7 series, which is slated to launch in the country on February 4.
However, at the time of writing this article, the India website along with the listing has not provided further details of the Oppo Watch Free.
Oppo Watch Free Price, Features and Specifications
The Oppo Watch Free was originally unveiled in China for CNY 549 and the NFC variant is priced at CNY 599 which roughly translates to Rs 6,800. It was launched in two color options: Quick Sand Gold and Silent Night Black color and it is quite likely that it will be launched in India in similar color options as well. The Oppo Watch Free has over 100 sports modes and features include a blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitor and a heart rate monitor that have become a must-have for all smart wearables. Talking about health tracking features, Oppo Watch Free sports snoring monitoring, daily activity, sedentary reminder and sleep monitoring capabilities. The device also has 100 watch faces.
The Oppo Watch Free features a 1.64-inch AMOLED touchscreen with DCI-P3 color gamut, 326ppi pixel density and 2.5D curved glass layer and looks similar to the Huawei Band with a tall rectangular screen.
