Congress leader Manish Tewari, who has been a vocal critic of the political circus in Punjab, once again slammed the “daily soap opera” and questioned whether the party feels that the people of the state are not “disgusted” by it.

Referring to an interview of the party’s Punjab in-charge Harish Rawat, Tiwari said that “over 40 years in @INCIndia, I have never seen such chaos”.

In a series of tweets, Tiwari detailed the ailments plaguing the Punjab unit and called it “chaos”. “Repeated blatant defiance of AICC by a PCC President, Colleagues quarreling in public with each other like children. Even fish wives do not use guttural language against each other. For the past 5 months this @ INCPunjab is”.

Rawat had said in an interview that Tiwari was a senior leader with whom he was “very attached”, but that he should understand the ground situation in Punjab. Tiwari then said in an interview that the AICC leader in charge of the state had failed to appreciate how former chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh managed the political situation in the border state and its issues, or that he ran a stable government. .
