MCD retorted saying that it is fully committed to provide excellent civic amenities in its jurisdiction. “MCD manages three landfill sites in the city which are located at Bhalswa, Okhla and Ghazipur. For disposal of old garbage mound 44 trommel machines are working in Bhalswa which process 9,000 to 10,000 tonnes of waste daily and till now they have processed 2.5 million tonnes of old waste and completed a mound of 11 meters .
