Mr. Gulati says he aims to halt sales of the OnePlus Nord 2, as his is the only case that hasn’t come up. He also said that it is very dangerous to walk around with the phone which can lead to explosion. “Imagine how dangerous such an explosion could be in a public place or, worse, in a flight,” he said.
This is similar to an issue last month, where a user in Bengaluru reported a similar explosion issue with the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. OnePlus had then said that the explosion was caused by an isolated incident involving external factors and not a manufacturing or product issue.
