OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date for its upcoming flagship smartphones, the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R, in India. Both phones are set to be launched on January 23, 2024, in India and the global market. The OnePlus 12 has already been launched in China.
The company released a teaser for the Indian launch, celebrating its 10th anniversary this month. The phones will be unveiled at 7:30 AM and are expected to retain the design of the OnePlus 12 launched in China.
The OnePlus 12, already available in China, features a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and offers up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
The device boasts a triple rear camera setup with Hasselblad branding, including a 50MP primary camera, 64MP telephoto lens, and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera is 32MP. The OnePlus 12 comes with a 5400mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, running on Color OS 14 based on Android 14.
While details about the OnePlus 12R are not yet available, it is speculated to share a similar design with the OnePlus 12 and may be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Pricing for the OnePlus 12 is expected to be around INR 60,000, while the OnePlus 12R might be launched within a budget of INR 50,000.
