OnePlus 10 Pro display details revealed by CEO Pete Lau ahead of launch – Times of India

earlier this week, oneplus CEO Pete Lau revealed that the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone, oneplus 10 pro Will be launched on January 5. Lau announced this through his official Weibo account. Rumors and leaks about the smartphone have been doing the rounds on the web for some time now. Now, in a new post, the executive has revealed more details about the smartphone.
In a new post on Weibo, Pete Lau reveals that oneplus 10 The Pro will have an LTPO 2.0 display. For those who don’t know, LTPO stands for Low Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide and is a special type of OLED panel. This technology allows the display a flexible refresh range of up to 120Hz. It consumes less power as compared to LTPS OLED display.
OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to be the first flagship smartphone of the year 2022. The company has already confirmed that the OnePlus 10 series will feature the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. According to a post by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OnePlus 10 Pro will offer 80W wired fast charging support and 50W wireless fast charging support. If the post is to be believed, the smartphone could offer the fastest wired charging yet.
OnePlus 10 Pro Rumor Specifications
The OnePlus 10 Pro is rumored to have a 6.7-inch 1440p display. The display is said to have a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The SoC is rumored to be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Reports suggest that the smartphone may come in two combinations of RAM and storage configurations, 8GB and 12GB RAM and 128GB and 256GB storage.
When it comes to the cameras, the smartphone is rumored to have a triple camera setup at the back that includes a 48MP primary lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP 3x telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, the OnePlus 10 Pro is said to have a 32MP camera on the front.
