One death due to Kovid in Anantnag, 224 new cases – Kashmir Pathak

SRINAGAR: One person hailing from Anantnag district lost his life to COVID, while 224 new COVID cases were detected in J&K in the last 24 hours, the official daily bulletin reported on Sunday.
Of the new cases, 150 were reported in Kashmir division and 74 in Jammu division, the bulletin said.
The maximum number of 53 cases were reported in Srinagar, while 7 new cases were reported in Jammu district.
The bulletin said 349 patients were cured and discharged from various hospitals in the last 24 hours, including 122 from Jammu division and 227 from Kashmir division. There are currently 3,002 active cases in Jammu and Kashmir, the bulletin said.
Providing the district wise breakup in the bulletin, it has been said that 53 new cases have been reported in Srinagar and currently there are 597 active cases, in which 63 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours.
Baramulla reported 14 new cases and currently has 167 active cases, in which 37 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours.
Budgam reported 10 new cases and currently has 151 active cases, in which 20 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours.
23 new cases were reported in Pulwama and currently there are 91 active cases, in which 45 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours.
Kupwara reported 8 new cases and currently has 140 active cases, with 14 cured in the last 24 hours.
12 new cases have been reported in Anantnag and 101 active cases have been reported, in which 4 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours.
Bandipora reported 13 new cases and 82 active cases, in which 6 patients were cured in the last 24 hours.
Ganderbal reported 12 new cases and 157 active cases with 11 patients being cured in the last 24 hours.
Kulgam recorded 3 new cases and 96 active cases with 24 patients being cured in the last 24 hours.
Shopian reported 2 new cases and currently has 8 active cases with 3 patients being cured in the last 24 hours.
Jammu district reported 7 new cases, Udhampur 5, Rajouri 2, Doda 23, Kathua 12, Kishtwar 6, Samba zero, Poonch 12, Ramban 2, and Reasi 5.
