The content creator economy has boomed, giving rise to a lot of talent. And Ehsaas Channa is one of them. But what makes her stand apart is the fact that she started her career as an actor and brought her massive fandom when she ventured into the content creation space. After working as a child artist in films such as Vaastu Shastra (2004), Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (2006) and My Friend Ganesha (2017), she went on to star in Girls Hostel, Kota Factory, Hostel Days and Mismatched 2, among others. Thus emerging as the most popular and loved Millennial Icon.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, News18 exclusively spoke to Ahsaas who admits to being single contrary to the many rumors that keep doing the rounds about her love life. And to mark the day of love, she plans to spend it pampering herself and spending quality time with her mother. She says, ‘Love is a very important thing in my life. I love love. I’m not really doing anything on Valentine’s Day because I don’t have a Valentine (laughs). So, I’m just going to stay home. I’m on break now. I’m not working and so, I’m just resting. I am going to watch two to three romantic movies with my mother and have good food.
But to celebrate the strong sense of brotherhood in his life, Ehsaas spent the day earlier with his girlfriend, whom he holds very close to his heart. “All my friends are dating and hence, I won’t be able to meet them. I’m going to be all alone! But I met my girlfriends yesterday and celebrated Galentine’s with them,” she explains.
As she tells us she’s “always ready for love,” the 23-year-old reveals she’s looking for a partner who is patient and kind. She elaborates, “I am a very complicated person. I want someone who understands me and is extremely patient with me because I think I am a very troublesome person (laughs). The most important thing to me is that they are kind and good. He should have as much respect for my parents as he has for me. Ahsaas adds, “How he treats others is important to me. If he disrespects other people, that’s a deal breaker for me. Even if my friends disrespect others, it frustrates me.”
Recalling the first date she went on, she says, “The first time I went on a date, I was in school. I remember going to meet my crush with my babysitter. We went to Starbucks and she sat next to me the whole time and it was so awkward. I think I was in tenth grade.
The Modern Love Mumbai (2022) actress told us that she is still scared of her mother and has often lied to her about meeting her boyfriend. “She is very strict and I am very scared of her. But she is also very protective of me and does not want me to be around wrong people or influence. Or even lied to her to meet my friends. Even now if I go on a date, I don’t think I’ll tell my mom about it. And now, I hope my mom will remember this interview Will not read!” she laughs.

There have been a lot of link up news and whenever I see a rumor or a comment, I immediately take a screenshot and send it to the other person. It’s fun interacting with these guys (laughs).
