Reliance Foundation on Wednesday announced that it will provide 50,000 scholarships over 10 years to students pursuing higher education in the country, on the occasion of the 90th birth anniversary of Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, Founder-Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited.

The foundation said that for the academic year 2022-23, it will provide 5,000 merit-cum-means undergraduate scholarships of up to Rs 2 lakh each and 100 merit-based postgraduate scholarships of up to Rs 6 lakh each. Study period. Applications are open until February 14, 2023.

The objective of the scholarship is to enable students to become successful professionals and realize their dreams, unlock their potential to uplift themselves and their communities and contribute to the future socio-economic development of India.

In addition to scholarship funding, the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship will provide scholars with an opportunity to be part of a vibrant alumni network and an enabling support system.

Students with a household income of less than Rs 15 lakh, who are enrolled in the first year of undergraduate studies in any discipline stream of their choice, can apply. The program will also aim to encourage applications by girls and specially-abled students.

The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship is open to all to apply and aims to identify and nurture the future leaders of tomorrow and will be awarded after a rigorous selection process including interviews with leading experts.

Students pursuing education in the fields of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics and Computing, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable and New Energy, Materials Science and Engineering and Life Sciences are selected on the basis of merit Will go
