A day after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called the attack on AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi’s vehicle in Uttar Pradesh ‘unbearable and unacceptable’, Owaisi said the CM should order a fair probe into the matter.
“It is sad that CM Adityanath is justifying the attack on an MP. If I had said something then they should have told the media. I want to ask them to conduct a fair investigation in this matter.” He further attacked the BJP and said that it was Adityanath’s government which imposed NSA on students because they had written something about a cricket match.
In an exclusive interview with News18, CM Yogi Adityanath said, “Leaders should be careful not to hurt religious sentiments in election speeches. In a democracy, we believe in ballots, not bullets. Incidents like this are intolerable.” and is unacceptable.
We have ideological differences but my government will not let anyone take the law into its own hands. The police is intensifying the action against the criminals.

He said that the daughter of Hathras wanted justice, they wanted to cremate her respectfully, but what did the people of this government do? He didn’t let that happen. If she had got proper treatment at the hospital, she might have been alive today.”
Two people have been arrested in connection with the attack, one from Gautam Buddh Nagar and the other from Saharanpur in western Uttar Pradesh.
