The Andhra Pradesh government on Monday imposed night curfew from 11 pm to 5 am to check the rise in COVID-19 cases in the state. The decision was taken after a review meeting held by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy with health department officials on the COVID-19 situation.

Theatres, multiplexes and cinema halls will remain operational with 50 per cent occupancy or alternate seating arrangement. The government has also banned public gatherings, with 200 people allowed outside and 100 inside the auditorium.

Wearing of masks in public places is mandatory and violation will attract a fine of Rs 100.

Religious places in the state should follow the proper handling of COVID-19 and wearing of masks is mandatory inside the premises.

Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) should be done for immediate testing. A COVID-19 care center will be set up in each block.
