Officer ‘beaten’ protesting students who failed in high school

An officer was accused of beating up class 12 students in front of a crowd of cameras and journalists. The administrative officials became uneasy when the incident came to light in Jharkhand.

The unsuccessful students were protesting against the Jharkhand Academic Council. They came to meet the district magistrate to register their complaint and were immediately beaten up and thrown out of the district magistrate’s office. Questions have been raised at the administrative level regarding such behavior with the students. The officer who treated the students like this is demanding their sacking. When the students were taken down the stairs to beat them up there were a lot of cameras and reporters. But ignoring all this, the students were allegedly fired with sticks.

It is alleged that on Friday last, a woman police officer ran in front of the District Governor’s office in Dhanbad after the girl students of class 10th and 12th demanded re-examination.
