According to local police, three trucks collided with each other after which the vehicles caught fire due to an electrical short circuit

Three truck drivers were burnt to death in a horrific road accident near Sadar police station on National Highway 49 in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district in the early hours of Thursday.

According to the local police, three trucks collided with each other after which the vehicles caught fire due to an electrical short circuit.

Police said the drivers of all the three trucks were burnt alive after the collision could not get out of their vehicles.

The three drivers have been identified as Sipun Barah of Angul district, Guddu Sah of Gandhichiwak, Brajrajnagar of Jharsuguda district and Bikram Yadav of Chhattisgarh state.

On receiving the information, fire brigade personnel reached the spot and doused the fire.
