The Odisha Board Class 10 results for 2023 will be released by the Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) today, May 18. The Odisha Board Class 10 Result 2023 will be released for around 5,85,730 students who have appeared for the matriculation exam in the state. The Odisha Board Class 10 Exams 2023 were conducted from March 10 to March 17.

The online marksheet for BSE Odisha 10th result will be provisional, and students must collect the official marksheet from their respective schools soon after the result is declared. After the declaration of result, students will get information about the total number of students passed, their pass percentage and list of top rankers. Candidates need to score minimum 33 percent marks in all subjects to qualify the Odisha Board Exam. If a candidate does not fulfill this requirement, he/she will have to appear for a supplementary examination.

The overall pass rate for the Odisha Board Class 10 exam in 2022 was 90.55 percent and a total of 5,85,730 students appeared for the exam. This is lower than the pass percentage in 2021 which was 97.89 per cent out of the total number of students who passed, girls have performed better than boys. 92.37 percent of the girls who took the exam passed it. More than 8000 students have got A1 grade or above 90% marks.

Last year, the evaluation process was divided into three modes. The first method involved assessing students on the basis of their marks in Summative Assessment-I and Internal Assessment. In the second method, the marks obtained in summative assessment-II and internal assessment were considered. In the third method, students are evaluated by giving 20 percent to internal assessment, 30 percent to summative assessment-I and 50 percent to summative assessment-II. It is important for the students to understand that their final marks were determined by considering the highest marks obtained in any one of the three methods mentioned above.
