A pupil is suspected to have died by suicide in Sambalpur metropolis of western Odisha after apparently getting depressed over his marks within the Class 12 examinations, police stated on Thursday. Rohan Gurung secured 49 per cent marks within the annual HS examination, the consequence of which was introduced by the Council of Greater Secondary Schooling (CHSE) Odisha on Wednesday.
Gurung, a resident of Dhipapara below the Burla police station limits, was a science pupil of the Gangadhar Meher Junior Faculty in Sambalpur, a police officer stated. “He was depressed as a result of consequence. He was not there in the home on Wednesday night,” Gurung’s brother stated.
When he didn’t return until 9.30 pm, the members of the family looked for Gurung and located him hanging from a bar on the bottom of a rest room within the yard of the home. Gurung was instantly taken to the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Analysis, the place he was declared introduced lifeless.
