He said that the blast took place near Mandua area of Keonjhar police station area when the MLAs of the saffron party were returning home after attending a trade union meeting. Manjhi lodged an FIR and alleged that motorcycle-borne miscreants hurled two hand-made bombs at his vehicle.

It happened around 11.50 in the morning. I may have become politically hostile in my career of 20 years. But I have no enemies in my personal life,” said Manjhi, a tribal MLA from Keonjhar.
