In a bombshell Instagram post, Sheikha Mahra dumped her husband accusing him of infidelity.
Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dubai princess, divorced her husband Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum accusing him of infidelity.
“Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you. I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife,” Sheikha Mahra wrote in an Instagram post.
Sheikha Mahra is the daughter of the ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the vice-president and the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Reports by news outlets said that the royal couple earlier stopped following each other on Instagram and also removed all photos of one another from their respective profiles.
Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana tied the knot almost a year ago. They had announced their engagement in March through a poem penned by the father of Sheikh Mana, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Bin Mana Al Maktoum, through the Arabian Royal Agency.
They were married in a traditional Islamic marriage ceremony in May last year and had organised a lavish wedding reception in Dubai in June.
The couple also have a child. Their first child, a baby girl, was born in May 2024. The daughter is named Mahra, after her mother.
