Yogi Adityanath pats Akhilesh Yadav’s shoulder
The swearing-in program of MLAs is going on in the UP Assembly. First Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took oath. While returning after taking oath, Yogi was given a bouquet by Leader of Opposition Akhilesh Yadav. Yogi shook hands with Akhilesh and then patted his back with his hand on his shoulder. At the same time, when Akhilesh went to take oath, he greeted Yogi by saying Namaste. 403 MLAs will be administered oath in the assembly for two days today and tomorrow. After this, the election of the Speaker of the Assembly will be held on Tuesday.

Assembly Speaker’s election will be held on March 29
Principal Secretary Vidhan Sabha Pradeep Kumar Dubey has issued a letter stating that the election of the Speaker will be held on March 29 at 3 pm in the Vidhan Sabha Pavilion. In this, any member of the newly formed assembly can file nomination papers before 2 pm on March 28. This time BJP wants to make its senior most MLA Satish Mahana as Speaker of the Assembly. Based on the majority, it is believed that Satish Mahana will be the new Speaker of the UP Legislative Assembly.
