Nushrat Bharucha cried twice on the sets of ‘Chhori’, says ‘my team couldn’t control me’ – Times of India

Nushrratt Bharccha Recently shared the trailer of his upcoming horror flick ‘Chhorii’ And since then she has been receiving accolades for her performance. To take a different take on the genre, Nushrat will be playing the role of Sakshi, a pregnant woman in the film.

While the film is a Bollywood remake of a Marathi hit.covert’, Nushrat recently revealed that she has avoided watching the original film and made a conscious decision not to read the entire script of the film first to promote an honest portrayal of her role.

While talking to a media outlet, she said, “There is no control (she) on surviving in such a situation (my character) feels weak as well as strong. She feels responsible for her child. It made me feel better.” So tired that I broke down. Twice on set. I was crying on the ground. The team couldn’t control me, so they let me put everything in.”

This film is also Nusrat’s solo lead project. Talking about being at the prime location, she told ETimes, “It’s a great place. If you mean the pressure of the film to do well or not, then it’s not just on me, there are many more things to be right. It has to be written, directed and edited properly. There is no greater feeling than watching your film do well. We only play characters in the film and that is the pressure that I can handle. I have never been able to say whether the film is running because of me or whether people have come to see me. No, they are for the film and that has always been the big picture for me.”

‘Chhori’ is directed by Vishal Furia and backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, Jack Davis, and Shikha Sharma. It will stream on the OTT platform on November 26.

Apart from this, Nashuharat will also be seen in ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Janhit Me Jari’, ‘Hurdang’ and an unannounced project.
