Number of centenarians in Karnataka with Covid-19 tops 200 Mysuru News – Times of India

BENGALURU: Number of centenarians who have contracted COVID-19 Karnataka It has increased from 67 in mid-April to 212 (as of July 29). Of these, 61 tested positive in July, the highest in any month since the pandemic began.

The age-wise distribution of cases (as of July 29) shows that the mortality rate is 4 per cent in 60-69 group, 6 per cent in 70-79, 7.7 per cent in 80-89 and 11.8 per cent. 90-99 bracket.
In under-60 The group, those aged 50 to 59 years, had the worst mortality rate (2.1 percent), followed by patients aged 40 to 49 years (0.9 percent). It is less than 0.1 percent in the 0-20 and 20-29 age groups and less than 0.3 percent in the 30-39 age group.
Second pandemic for many
