New Delhi: Chinese smartphone company Nubia has officially announced that it will launch the world’s first phone with 24 GB RAM on July 5, which will be named Red Magic 8S Pro. The phone is currently being launched in China. The company has also confirmed that the upcoming device will be powered by an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
Ahead of the launch, the company shared some pictures of the Nubia Red Magic 8S Pro. The images reveal its design, suggesting that the RedMagic 8S Pro will sport a boxy design and bezel-less display. The punch-hole camera is missing, which confirms that it will be equipped with an under-display selfie camera.
It has a toggle that switches to game mode and will also act as an alert slider, offering two shoulder triggers for a better gaming experience. Like the Nubia Redmagic 8 Pro, the 8S Pro will also sport a transparent back model with an RGB cooling fan.
A red Magi 8S Pro with model code NX729S_V1A has appeared in AnTuTu benchmarking tests. This suggests that the device is equipped with a 3.36GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship, 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, and Android 13. The phone has registered a score of 1,704,020 on the AnTuTu benchmark.
Other reports have revealed that the device will come with features like an under-display camera, up to 24GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 165W fast charging.
