NSIL: India’s first Space PSU head job opened for private sector, army nominees can also apply. India News – Times of India

Bengaluru: India’s first space PSU, NewSpace India Limited (NSILAs per Chetan Kumar’s report, the Department of Space (DoS) and the Center may soon be headed by a private sector head if a suitable candidate is found. According to documents reviewed by TOI, From has opened CMDPosts for people in the private sector. Candidates belonging to “Central Public Sector Enterprises, including Central Government, Armed Forces and All India Services, State Public Sector Enterprises (SPSE), or Private Company” can apply.
The Search-cum-Selection Committee (SCSC) will start shortlisting the candidates from January 24. This panel is empowered to include the names of those who do not apply and also relaxes the eligibility criteria to accommodate the candidates who feel exceptional for the post. Present CMD of NSIL Radhakrishnan D, who was deputed from ISROYou can also apply for the post.
NSIL is empowered to commercially exploit the R&D work by ISRO centers and units of DoS. Under the administrative control of DoS, the authorized and paid-up capital of NSIL is Rs 1,000 crore and Rs 710 crore respectively. The appointment, once selected, will be on deputation or contract basis for a period of five years. The post is exempted from the ‘rule of immediate absorption’ in case of deputation. Lieutenant General (Retd) AK Bhatt, Director General, Indian Space Association (ISPA) told TOI: “NSIL will play an important role in the coming years. Whether it is (CMD) from ISRO or from the private sector, the important thing will be on privatization.” Change has to come with a focused new policy.”
