DCP West Sanjeev Tyagi announced cash reward for two policemen who hatched a unique conspiracy to nab the master-mind of the auto-lifting gang absconding for the past one year.
Talking to TOI, the DCP said that Binu Thakur, who was the master-mind of an auto-lifting gang, was wanted by the city police for the past one year.
Police had arrested two of his associates from Kalyanopur area of ​​the city and recovered several stolen two-wheelers from their possession.
During interrogation, both revealed that they used to carry out the crime with the connivance of their gang leader Dharmendra Chandel of Udaipur village of Sachendi.
A local court had issued a warrant against Dharmendra after which the Kakadev police were pressed into service to make his arrest possible.
The police raided Dharmendra’s hideouts several times, but could not catch him.
Later it was found that he works in a private firm in Delhi.
When some sources told the police that the family members of the accused were looking for the girl for marriage, Kakadev police station inspector Kunj Bihari Mishra played an unusual trick and killed two policemen – constables Dharmendra Tiwari and Amit as brothers and an elderly man. sent for submission.
