Production house Hombale Films and late actor Puneet Rajkumar share a deep bond. In fact, Puneeth’s Nintendo, Rajakumara and Yuvaratna were also bankrolled by Hombale Films.
And now the production house has decided to take the legacy forward by signing three films with Puneet Rajkumar’s nephew Yuva Rajkumar.
Yuva’s film Yuva Randheera Kantir was all set to release on April 14 this year. The historical film was supposed to be directed by debutant director Puneet Rudranag, but was canceled due to unknown reasons. The cancellation of this film has not dampened the spirits of the youth. He has surprised everyone by signing this deal for three films with the production house Hombale Films.
Yuva’s debut film will be a Puneeth Rajkumar film directed by Santosh Anandadram. Now, unfortunately, as Appu (Puneet Rajkumar) is no more, Yuva will take his place.
Rajkumar will handle the cinematography of this project. Vijay Kiragandur is associated with the production of this film. The shooting of this film will start after the shooting of Salar is over. The title of this film will be launched on the birthday of Puneet Rajkumar. There is no information regarding the other two films.
Yuva’s father Raghavendra Rajkumar is also a film producer and actor.
Santosh Anandram will start working on this film after the completion of Jaggesh starrer Raghavendra Stores.
Apart from Santosh Anandram’s film, the youth will also be seen in a yet-to-be-titled film by Jacob Varghese. Initially, Puneet Rajkumar was to be in this film. The film is currently in the pre-production stage so youngsters will be seen in this film as well.
Meanwhile, Puneeth Rajkumar will be seen on his last screen in Lucky Man, the official remake of Tamil rom-com Oh My Kadavule.
