Now the last phase of the Uttar Pradesh elections is left. In the seventh phase, voting will be held on March 7 in 54 assembly seats in 9 districts. One of these districts is…Azamgarh. Yes, the same Azamgarh whose MP is SP chief Akhilesh Yadav. He had taken this seat from his father Mulayam Singh Yadav. Azamgarh has 10 assembly seats. When Akhilesh announced to contest the assembly elections, there was talk of contesting from Azamgarh only. Suddenly he chose Karhal.

Let’s know what Dainik Bhaskar’s report says on the ground…

Before knowing the ground report here, understand what happened in 2017. Actually, there was a Modi wave. It seemed that the SP’s fort would be taken away, but out of 10 seats in Azamgarh, BJP could win only one seat (Phulpur Powai) and there was no greenery in 26 years of drought. BSP got 4 seats while Samajwadi Party won 5 seats.

BSP won these 4 seats

  • Mubarakpur
  • Sagadi
  • Didarganj
  • Lalganj

SP won these 5 seats

  • Azamgarh Sadar
  • Gopalpur
  • Mehnagar
  • atraulia
  • Nizamabad

Now let’s go straight to Azamgarh…and know what is in 10 seats, this time the election environment…

These two seats are in discussion
Except one in 10 seats of Azamgarh, BJP’s account was not even opened in the 2017 elections. In the last election, the Phulpur Powai seat, which was dominated by Ramakant Yadav, went to the BJP’s account. Ramakant Yadav’s son Arunkant Yadav contested from this seat on a BJP ticket. This time Ramakant Yadav himself is fighting from this seat, but not from BJP but from SP ticket. At the same time, Mubarakpur seat went to BSP’s account in 2017. Shah Alam alias Guddu Jamali had won from here. Shah Alam is in the fray this time too, but not from BSP ticket but from Owaisi’s party AIMIM.

Know what is the electoral math on 10 seats of Azamgarh by turn

1. Phulpur Powai seat: In Ramakant Yadav ground, BJP is trying to snatch even one seat
Bahubali leader Ramakant Yadav is contesting the election on SP ticket. Is this a coincidence or a strategy, the seat where Ramakant Yadav is contesting on SP ticket. In the same seat, his son Arun Kant Yadav reached the assembly after contesting on a BJP ticket in the 2017 elections. Now, Ramakant Yadav is openly saying that the son is mine, so who will support him. In front of Ramakant Yadav is Ramsurat Rajbhar from BJP. Whereas, BSP has given ticket to Muslim leader Shakeel Ahmed and Congress has given ticket to Mohammad Shahid. There are 58 thousand Yadav voters in this seat with 3.04 lakh voters. 3. Mubarakpur: Happy Mubarakpur seat for BSP
The seat of Azamgarh with 3.17 lakh voters is very happy for the BSP. Because, since 1996, the BSP candidate is representing the people in the assembly. BJP’s lotus has never blossomed in Azamgarh Sadar since 1957. There are 1.20 lakh Yadav voters in the assembly seat with 3.75 lakh voters. Along with this, there are 30 thousand Muslims. Due to Yadav and Muslim voters, Durga Prasad Yadav has won 8 times, in which five times he has contested from SP. Once Rajbali Yadav of BSP has won the election. The BJP has come second in the Ram Mandir wave in 1991 and 1993 and the Modi-Yogi wave in 2017. Promises have no importance in politics. Election promises are often forgotten by politicians. But, Akhilesh Yadav cut the ticket of a two-time MLA in Didarganj seat with 3.41 lakh voters to fulfill his promise. In 2017, BSP MLA Sukhdev Rajbhar wrote a letter to Akhilesh Yadav for his son’s ticket before his death. After which Akhilesh Yadav cut the ticket of two-time MLA Adil Sheikh and made Kamalakant, son of Sukhdev Rajbhar, sit on a bicycle.
