Noida: More than 1,000 Police personnel deployed at various places ahead of Eid-ul-Adha

Noida: Police forces are deployed at various places in Noida to deal with any untoward incident on the occasion of Bakrid, which is being celebrated across the country today. Flag marches, prayers on the streets and slaughter of banned animals have been banned by the police. Namaz place and sensitive places in Sector-8 Jama Masjid are being monitored by CCTV cameras. At the same time, an advisory has been issued by the traffic department so that the traffic is not affected. It has been said that on the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha prayers on June 29, 2023, traffic will be diverted on the routes falling around Jama Masjid and Surajpur Masjid located on Udyog Marg as per the requirement.

A Noida Police official said that sensitive places regarding animal sacrifice have also been identified. Police took out flag marches at many places. More than 1,000 jawans have been deployed near the Sector 8 mosque regarding Eid. The area around the mosque is being monitored with the help of drones and CCTV footage. Along with this, strict instructions have been given to the elements that spoil the environment. If someone spreads false rumors on social media, action will be taken against him.
