Noida: Major earthquake jolted the Noida-Greater Noida and adjoining areas on Tuesday. The earthquake tremors were so strong that people had to run for safety from the high-rise societies and office premises. Tremors were felt for almost a minute. Initial reports suggest the epicenter in Nepal with magnitude 6.2 on Richter scale. In Film City also, where News24 office is headquartered, strong tremors were felt forcing people to run outdoors during peak work hours.
Several users started sharing videos where they caught the tremors jolting various things inside their homes. Social media platforms including X was flooded with videos recorded and posted by citizens of Delhi and Noida.
Here are some of the videos. A user named Tanuj Pratap Mall shared the video from his flat based in Noida Sector 76, living in a high-rise building.
