The PM said that he firmly believes that the judiciary is the custodian of justice in the country. He said the Supreme Court should have at least initiated an inquiry into the “foreign conspiracy” case.

“I have respect for the Supreme Court and the judiciary, but the apex court should have looked into the threat letter before passing the verdict,” he said.

PM Imran Khan also said that the Supreme Court did not take the “danger letter” incident as seriously as it should have.

He said that nations must stand up for the wrong, otherwise no one will defend them if they do not speak out against the corruption and other ills present in the country.
