The makers of Ek Villain Returns teased the audience with a new digital poster of the film. The release date of the film has been announced in the new poster. Ek Villain Returns has been closed for Eid 2022 release. It will hit the theaters on 8 July 2022.
Announcing the new release date of the film on social media, producer Ekta Kapoor wrote, “Not this time Hero, Ek Villain will return on Eid 2022. Badla will be served on 8th July 2022 (sic).” By writing ‘Not a hero’, he pointed to Salman Khan, who is known for his Eid releases.
Ekta said, “Ek Villain is back with big action, thick suspense and double drama! Ek Villain is Balaji’s most exclusive flagship franchise and now Ek Villain ‘Returns’ to keep the audience hooked to their seats.
“I have loved every moment of making Ek Villain Returns and am thrilled that the film will release on Eid. We look forward to giving the audience a uniquely power-packed theatrical experience!”
Talking about the film, producer Bhushan Kumar said, “We have raised the level of Ek Villain to make Ek Villain Returns. The film deserves an Eid release and I am very excited that we are doing justice to the film. You won’t want to miss out on all the work we have for you!”
Starring a powerful ensemble cast including John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria, Ek Villain Returns is jointly produced by T-Series and Balaji Telefilms. The film is a sequel to the 2014 blockbuster Ek Villain, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor.
