When contacted by TOI, MCG executive engineer Vishal Garg said, “I recently took charge of the area and I am not aware of the matter. I will direct the concerned officer to inquire into the complaints of the residents. Usually we clean underground water tanks once a year, but it also depends on the amount of silt deposited in the tanks. If necessary, we clean them frequently.”
